Experimental Analysis on Dynamic Response of X-Section Piled Raft Composite Foundation under Cyclic Axial Load for Ballastless Track in Soft Soil

Large-scale model tests were established at a scale of 1/5 using 7 m deep tank with cross-sectional dimension 5 × 4 m, to study the vibration response characteristics ballastless track, embankment, and X-section piled raft foundation under cyclic axial load, including displacement, velocity, dynamic soil, pile stress. Cyclic loading can be achieved by controlling frequency cycles through servo control system. The test results are presented in variation stress composite foundation. follow pattern sine wave. waves identified easily from peaks troughs many locations track slab, cushion, underlying which presents almost monotonically increasing tendency frequencies. With increase frequency, responses structure embankment have higher rates than those substructure (raft, subsoil). bears more load cushion subsoils, ensure long-term stability safety soils. testing provide better understanding soft soil.
